Our Puppies All Grown Up
It can be very hard to imagine what a tiny puppy will look like. Many people think newborn puppies look more like mice than dogs. Hopefully this page will help, justa little.
Puppies are born with pink noses that darken over time, usually within a few weeks, but it can take up to a year for the nose to fill in completely. Copper markings tend to spread and get richer in color as a puppy matures, and white markings usually shrink a little. Merles tend to develop more spots, and the spots tend to get larger and darker in color, as they mature. Eye color is subject to change, with most puppies eye color can be determined by 3 - 4 weeks, but I have had a puppy's eyes change from blue to marbled or brown as late as 8 weeks of age.

Here is Tater all grown up.
Tater livesin Florida with Bob and Jill, and Titch (another one of our little Aussie puppies). Tater is a Hospice volunteer, and registered Service dog.
Tater is by Justa Little Tucker, and is out of Sundance Marina Rae.
